Well looky here!  I'm back and making, yet, another post!  Nothing much exciting to discuss today.  I spent the day hanging out with the kids and then I visited with my sister-in-law & brother-in-law this evening.  She made a wonderful dinner of bbq pork, macaroni & cheese, & greenbeans.  Ya know what?  I didn't have to cook it and it tasted GREAT!  Thanks, Stace.  It's always special to spend time with family and I'm grateful for such wonderful people in my life.

It was blazin' hot here today!  At 4pm it was 100 degrees!  I cannot STAND this heat and I end up shutting myself in the house with the air conditioning on.  I did go out and water my laundry basket garden this evening after dark.  Oh, as promised, here is a picture of my famous garden:

The far left row is all Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans, beside that to the right is a row of Mortgage Lifter Tomatoes, next are the greens of spinach, kale, & romane lettuce.  Beside that is a basket of carrots, behind that (which you cannot see) is a flat with oodles of green onions planted in it.  Then, behind that is a basket with cucumbers, then cauliflower, then brocolli.  Then you will see four baskets up front towards the right of the picture that have straw in them...those are all strawberries.  There are a total of 12 strawberry plants in those baskets.  Around the strawberries I placed large pieces of cardboard on the ground and put some soil on top, fashioning it into hills.  I planted 4 hills of sugarbaby watermelon, 1 hill of yellow squash, and two hills of cantaloupe.  In addition, I have 2 cherry tomato plants in hanging baskets & a whole flower garden riddled with more tomato plants.  I have two grapevines I need to plant tomorrow & I'm expecting two blueberry bushes in the mail when their planting season comes into effect.  Not too shabby, huh?

I took this picture of Klara today during naptime and just had to share it.  She was sound asleep and had her little arms up above her head like a baby.  Too cute!

Well I suppose I should head off to bed.  Jared only has two more days of school!  But, until then, I have to be up EARLY.  Write more later...
