My tiny little baby man is two-years-old today (Dec 29th)! *sigh* where did all the time go? To be fair, Will has stayed pretty babyish over these past two years so I have loved that. But he is clearly a toddler now and a man of the world, hehehe.
But, still, mommy's baby boy! What do you say about a tiny boy who has only been in your life for two years? A LOT! Will was quite the little surprise baby. I suffer from PCOS and had just been diagnosed with it 1 month before I found out I was pregnant with him. They had put me on Actos, which helps alleviate the symptoms of PCOS, and I was a bit aggravated when I had taken it for a full month and didn't seem to have any regularity. Why? Because "Baby Actos" was in the house, that's why! And we called him that the whole nine months. "Baby Actos."
It was a decent pregnany, minus a bout of kidney stones. Little turkey was breech until the bitter end and I finally convinced him that he wanted to move around one night via manipulation. I was a bit freaked out a few days later when he was born with a true knot in his cord. He could have died, easily.
But, he didn't. I was able to have him VBAC (my second!) and he was a healthy 9 lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long. Big boy! He was nursed up until two months ago, when he was reluctantly weaned because I had to again resume my PCOS medications.
He has always been a very loving baby boy and very snuggly. He and I slept in the recliner for many months, just because we liked it. I loved going to sleep nursing him and rocking him and so we just stayed that way through the night. He is very affectionate and loves to give out hugs. His "Bubby" and "Sissy" love their baby brother and he has been such a joy to have in our family.
He is just starting to converse pretty well and I enjoy hearing his little words and phrases. He says that the kitty goes "Me-Now" and he calls a drink a "dank." He will ask where his brother and daddy are when they are gone throughout the day, "where's daddy?" I will tell him he is at work and he will kind of nod and say "oh." Very cute.
Oh, I could go on and on about my little Mr. Will, but I need to get some rest for his big day tomorrow. We plan on a few little fun activities and some good family time. I will have plenty of pictures, I am sure. Happy Birthday, baby boy!
