Rich took a sick day today and it seems that we both have strep throat.  My tonsils are all swollen up and I have the white patches all over them.  We are both on antibiotics & sucking on chloraseptic throat lozenges (yucky!).  Oh, yeah, and Advil Gel Caps are my best friend right now too!

So I actually had a loaf of bread not turn out today!  I've been baking 1-2 loaves of bread every day for the past three months and never had a loaf do what happened today.  It just kind of didn't bake in the center.  So I am trying again now.  I caught Rich picking pieces of the loaf off and EATING it out of the garbage can!  YUCK!  I'm glad he is on penicillan!  Grody!

I just got done whooping up a batch of homemade ricotta cheese and have a lasagna in the oven.  I didn't feel quite up to making my own mozerella tonight.  Last time I tried to make mozerella I messed up royally.  Ended up pitching the whole batch!

The doctor's office called today and my HCG hormone level was 3.  This is good in that I don't have to go back for more bloodwork.  It broke my heart in that there was a small part of me that kept HOPING that maybe all of it was a mistake and everything might be normal.  No such luck. 

Other than that everything is pretty status quo.  Nothing overly exciting to write about today.  I hope everyone is well and try to avoid strep throat.  It really hurts and it is NOT fun!
