I hope that everyone had a really fantastic Thanksgiving! My parents came down today and we had a very nice dinner. I roasted a fresh Amish turkey (mainly because I didn't have time to defrost a frozen one!) & it was great. We enjoyed mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, greenbeans from mom's garden, corn, peas, homemade cranberry sauce, hot rolls, & pumpkin pie! And I was good...I only ate ONCE and had no return visits! Yay me! Oh, but there are plenty of leftovers for tomorrow...hehehe...

Mom decided last night to go ahead and pack her bag and stay for a few days. So that ought to be fun! Mom and I enjoy hitting the thrift stores and outlets. I am not sure if we will be able to do that much as my sinus infection is still not better! I am going to have to call the doctor tomorrow and ask what he thinks might be the cause. Personally, I don't think that the amoxicillan that he prescribed was nearly strong enough for the bad infection that I had. But, I dunno...I'm not a doctor am I? Don't get me wrong, I don't have a fever anymore and the pain is not nearly as bad as it was that first night. But I am still having to take a prescription dose of ibuprofen every 8 hours & that can't be normal. I have had four full days of antibiotics and only have three left. Rich tells me to be patient....we'll see!

I am awful in that I didn't take any pictures today, except for one! I was just so busy with trying to get everything going that I forgot! Here is the only picture I got...it is of my mom holding Will & Klara:

I will take a few more during her stay this weekend and post a few more in the days to come.  Klara was a total cling-on to my mom & right before bed, Klara had covered my mom up with SIX blankets!  My mom couldn't even see the WVU football game (which, by the way, GO 'EERS! hahahaha....). 

All in all, it was a very good day.  Simple, yet fulfilling.  It was nice to have a few family members over for the holiday, though, I must admit.  Y'all have a great day!
