Yeah, it's true. That's what you think it is. It's a chicken peeking in my door. You'd think after the rooster killing that they would be afraid of me, but no. About once a day, they all come over from next door and a few play the part of "nosey neighbor." Oh well, the kids get a large kick out of it and it rather amuses me as well. We just all have to watch for "chicken bombs" on the front porch after they make their visits. Ewww...
We have been potty training Will & he is doing very well with peeing in the potty. He does not like using the potty seat or even the stool to stand on so he can reach the big commode. He runs in & stands on his tippy toes and puts that little thing on the rim of the toilet and lets'er rip! It's hilarious, really. However, he hasn't quite gotten the whole "I need to poopy in the potty" thing yet. Even today, as he stood and admired the hen through the door, he pooped on our entryway. Chicken bombs....toddler bombs....we have poop everywhere lately! He pooped in my computer chair yesterday. I don't know because the other two just pooped in the potty and that was that. Ehhh, I guess he will get it soon enough. I'm just pleased that he pees in the potty now during the day.
I never got to post any of Will's birthday pictures. We all went to Fazoli's and had dinner (Will loves Italian food). That was a good time!

Note the high quality that the "Fun Saver" camera provided....ick. Oh well, I guess it was better than nothing. Anyway....
Then we took him to pick out a small gift, a potty, & a cake. I bought a couple of little spongebob toys and stuck into the cake to spice it up a bit. He seemed pleased with the whole thing. We then took the cake & went to Dairy Queen. We bought each of the kids a small cup of icecream and did his birthday cake thing there. It worked out quite nicely and was a lot less fuss than a big old birthday party.
Did I mention that the "Fun Saver" camera sucks? Yeah, I think I did. Oh well... It was a great little event and Will seemed happy enough.
Oh, here's a neat little something to print out and make for the kids. It's called Magic Milkshakes and the kids seemed to like them a lot. They are cheap to make, require no icecream, and taste pretty good. There are a few twists that you can add to them to make them different that I haven't tried. But they make a decent dessert & hit the spot when you are craving something ice creamy and have none in the house.
Well, there really hasn't been anything all that exciting to write about lately (which, actually, is a great thing!). I just wanted to update everything and let everyone know I am still amongst the ranks of the living. Hope y'all have a great day!
