From June 7, 2006 (forgot to publish it...duh)

I just cannot tell you how much I am enjoying my garden this year!  Everything is just THRIVING!  I hate to sound like I am bragging, but everything looks better than anything I have seen in any traditional garden so far.  And it is so little work....no hoeing, no tilling, no weeding.  The only thing I do have to do is keep it watered.  I bought a large watering can and that makes it very easy.  All of my tomatoes have blossoms on them now, my pole beans are probably nearly 3 foot high, it's just amazing!  I'm not sure why more people don't garden like this.

Today was Rich's birthday.  He has now been with me, officially, for half of his life!  Poor guy! hahahaha...

He was rather down the past couple of days.  He had a very bad call (it was actually the first call of 06-06-06) that involved a pretty nasty, large murder scene.  It's not that he hasn't seen murder before, but this was the largest murder he has been exposed to during his career in the medical field.  It really worried me because it is so dangerous for them to go into a situation like that.
