I hate having to check my sugar all of the time?  Not that it hurts or anything, it just requires a lot of thought to remember to do it when I should, etc.  And I hate hate hate having to eat on a schedule.  I like to eat when I am hungry and eat what I need to satisfy that hunger.  I cannot stand to eat a required amount of food "just because."  I feel like a bloated tick right now!  My sugars were all good today except for my first morning one.  It was a few points above acceptable.  But the rest were on target.  I *did* try to at least conform somewhat to her diet, but it is DIFFICULT!  I didn't get all three snacks in because I always eat breakfast late and it just throws everything off.  Sheesh.

Ok, enough of that....

Onto news from the constipation front....Will still did not poop today...despite all of the things that were given to him yesterday!  I am getting a bit worried.  Rich picked up a bottle of something...citrate...something...in a green glass bottle.  He says he WILL go after he drinks that.  Poor little guy.  This has been very distressful to him and me.

Rich and I got to go out tonight like an actual married couple!  It was great!  We had the wonderful Holly over to babysit and went to dinner at the Outback Steakhouse (hey, they have LOTS of protein and I was able to do very little carbs there).  We then just window shopped in the mall and at Walmart.  I know...big exciting night out, but it was wonderful.  Just peace and quiet and good conversation.  Refreshing!

Earlier today I babysat Ethan (my nephew) for a few hours.  I think he enjoyed Uncle Rich today more than me!  He is so cute, I could just eat him up with a spoon!

Jared got an award today at school.    It was for Spelling Excellence!  Way to go, Jared!  He is such a smart little cookie!

Nothing overly exciting to report about Klara today, except that she mommy'd little Ethan like a old hen!  She wrapped a blanket around him and petted his head and gave him toys.  She seems to be very good with babies and that is a good thing!  She's an excellent "little momma."
