Oh my it sure is cold outside!  I never make Jared go out and stand by the road and wait for the bus because it is so cold.  Oh, yeah, and it is still DARK when the bus come too!   I think that is awful for a little 6-year-old to have to get up that early, but I guess he will live.  Especially when we live so close to the school.  It's crazy.  Anyway, I always crack the screen door and listen for the bus so that he can run out at the last second.  I about froze my face off listening for that darned bus this morning!  Wow! 

I am so excited!  In about 4 days or so (December 13th) my friend, Kathy, will be the proud mother of her third child....a baby boy!   Kathy, I wish you the very best & both of you will be in my prayers that the c-section goes safely and easily (well, as easy as a c-section can be...ugh!).   And don't worry about a thing...Dale will make sure that everything goes ok while you are in the hospital!

I was catching up with journals today and was so happy to see that my friend, Donna's, husband is home from Iraq for a visit!  I am so happy for her and only wish that he was home to stay for good.  I know what kind of a toll his absence has taken on her life & their children's.  It warmed my heart to listen to her voice post and hear the sheer happiness in her voice.  Donna, I hope you, Brian, & your kids have the best early Christmas ever.  Know that you have a friend in WV who wishes with all of her heart that you are as happy as you are today for the rest of your life.  Merry Christmas!

I am sitting here listening to the news and I find it hard to believe that John Lennon has been gone for 25 years now.  I was a huge Beatles/John Lennon fan since I was just a very small child.  Well, I wasn't all that old when he was killed (8 years old), but I remember that day well.  It just broke my heart.  I loved their/his music so much.

I guess I had better be getting to work around this place.  Moms never get a day off, do they?  Hahhaaha....
